On September 28, the opening ceremony of the new joint visa application center for France, the Netherlands, and Cyprus was held at the Pacific Finance Mansion in Guangzhou. The center is located on the 14th floor of the Mansion and will be officially opened to the public on October 5, 2023.

Mr. Sylvain Fourrière, Consul General of France in Guangzhou, and Mr. Efstathios Andreou, Consul General of the Netherlands in Guangzhou, attended the event and delivered speeches.

Mr. Sylvain Fourrière said that in 2024, the Olympic Games will be held in Paris, and it is also the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Sino-France diplomatic relations, so the Consulate General of France in Guangzhou will do its best to cooperate with the center and promote bilateral exchanges.

Covering an area of nearly 1,400 square meters, the new joint visa application center has upgraded its layout in an effort to provide comfortable and convenient service to every applicant.

Moreover, the new center has reorganized its resources, optimized the one-stop services, and upgraded its facilities. Applicants can deal with some processes on the computers and take photos by themselves at the center. The staff will assist applicants in preparing the materials and files to have a smooth and efficient processing.
