Foshan Meteorological Observatory reported that in the next 10 days, there will be persistent sunny weather and high temperature that may reach 36 to 37℃. The scorching weather will last for a while and citizen must be cautious of heatstroke prevention and sun protection. This round of heat that started at July 9 and has lasted 13 days(temperature higher than 35℃).

A new round of high temperature will come back on July 20 that is supposed to influence about 17 provinces and may constantly rise.  Until the end of July, Southern area will remain heat and humid while the high temperature days in some southern places are over 7 to 9 days.

Because of the influence of subtropical high, the last 10 days of July will remain the same with about 30℃ minimum temperature in both day and night and almost no rain. Shunde Meteorological Observatory raised the high temperature yellow alert into orange alert while the other four districts remained yellow alert.

Due to the continuous high temperature, citizen should be award of heatstroke prevention, sun protection and moisturizing, avoid outdoor activities, try to go out in morning or evening and keep in shape. If citizen choose to go out, please pick loose and light color clothes with topee and sunglasses. For those outdoor workers and physically vulnerable group like elder and kid, please be cautious on rehydrating and supplement of salinity.
