This batch of inheritors covers the projects in ten genres like folklore, opera, and traditional skills. Among them, Zhang Weichao, born in 1987, is the inheritor of the skills of making dragon boat heads and tails. The dragon heads he carved were selected by Zhang Yimou's team and displayed in the "Grain in Ear" part of the countdown video featuring the 24 solar terms in the opening ceremony of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.

"We need to express ancient stories in a modern and fashionable way, promote deeper integration of intangible cultural heritage and fashion, and pass down our history and culture," said Gary Wat, the organizer of this fashion week.
