The development and application of aerospace technology not only enhance the quality of life but also drive economic growth. In Foshan, Guangdong, the aerospace industry has brought new opportunities to the traditional manufacturing sector in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Since the establishment, Fenglu Aluminum located in Sanshui, Foshan has been a key player in the past 32 years, with its products being applied in a wide range of industries, from aerospace and rail transportation to new energy vehicles and high-end doors and windows, making its presence felt both in the international and domestic markets.

In 2005, Fenglu Aluminum forged a bond with the "Shenzhou VI" mission, becoming the first enterprise in the industry to be awarded the title of "China's Aerospace Special Aluminum Material". This groundbreaking collaboration between cutting-edge aerospace technology and private aluminum companies marked a significant milestone.

In recent years, Fenglu Aluminum has made a strong entrance into the high-end architectural doors and windows sector. They have incorporated the rigorous and perfectionist quality standards of Chinese aerospace into their product design and development processes, all in pursuit of delivering the best product to their customers. Over the past three decades, from civil applications to military and from rail transportation to aerospace, Fenglu Aluminum has evolved into one of the pioneering aluminum profile companies in China.

On April 19, 2022, the first domestic 20,000-ton extrusion production line was officially put into operation at Fenglu Aluminum's Sanshui base in Guangdong. This production line is capable of producing profiles with a maximum cross-section of 1000×400mm and pipes with a maximum outer diameter of 700mm. It is currently the largest-tonnage extrusion production line in operation in China, providing strong support for Foshan, a manufacturing powerhouse, in its journey towards high-end intelligent manufacturing.

Fenglu Aluminum also made its mark at this year's Hangzhou Asian Games. The main stadium and swimming pool at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center embrace a "two-in-one" design philosophy, forming an immense, unconventional spatial structure—the world's largest interconnected dual venue. A representative from Fenglu Aluminum stated, “Fenglu Aluminum supplied all the connecting elements for the distinctive structure of the two venues. The overall usage area of the products is around 30,000 square meters, incorporating over 100 different types of special-shaped structural components, all designed and manufactured by Fenglu Aluminum."

The continuous breakthroughs of Fenglu Aluminum in high-performance aluminum alloy materials are driving the transformation from traditional to advanced manufacturing. This progress not only broadens the application fields of new materials but also facilitates the transition towards high-quality development in aerospace and industrial manufacturing. These innovative materials, utilized in components of all sizes, are paving the way for high-quality development.
