On February 10, the opening ceremony of "Dongfeng Hydrogen Vehicle" demonstration operation project launched in Hydrogen Valley, Xianhua Lake, Nanhai District. Invented by Dongfeng Motor Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Dongfeng") and Xianhu Laboratory, TGPM will be in charge of the operation and they'll team up for better application of hydrogen vehicle.

Well Performance in Minus 30 Degree Environment

Equipped with high-performance battery system, Dongfeng Hydrogen Vehicle has vast application like shared transportation, business travel, etc. Aimed at the top-tier performance in the world, the team has made extensive efforts in the R&D of motor system, energy storage and safety. Underpinned by such efforts, the utilization rate of hydrogen energy has exceeded 95%, and ensured regular performance in minus 30 degree environment. With the distinct advantages of long endurance, high energy efficiency, great safety, it has significantly mitigated consumers' anxiety about endurance and provided a brand new driving experience.

As the leading enterprise in vehicle industry, Dongfeng has made 5 remarkable achievements, including the invention of the first full power vehicle with hydrogen energy, the license to conduct demonstration operation of hydrogen vehicle, etc.

Dongfeng has built the pilot automation line for fuel cell, with annual production of 5000 vehicles, which is the first automation line for metal plate reactors. Nowadays, over 10 types of fuel cells have passed examination and put into trial operation, 3500 vehicles has been sold to the public.

New milestone accomplished for hydrogen vehicle industry

As one of the earliest cities piled on hydrogen energy, Foshan has made great efforts in stimulating the development and gradually become the demonstration cluster of hydrogen energy industry.

Nowadays, there are over 120 relevant enterprises settled down in Nanhai, accounting for 1/3 in in Guangdong Province. After the completion of comprehensive industrial chain for hydrogen energy, the investment scale is expected to exceed 60 billion yuan, generating over 100 billion yuan annual output value in the future.
