February 22, Shunde, Foshan has been the spotlight of design world as the World Design Organization (WDO)'s 32nd World Design Assembly kicks off.

Reportedly, the event will be held online from February 22 to 24 and offline in Shunde later on in the second half of 2022. As its banner - “design for the unimagined” indicates, it aims to call for extraordinary designers from every corner of the globe to explore the power of design and shape the increasing uncertain future together.

The online meeting, bringing together 185 WDO members from over 40 countries and regions, will be broadcast live through Tiktok, WeChat, meia.me and other platforms with simultaneous translation.

Notably, such grand event is held in Chinese mainland for the first time. Foshan, as the host city, is a window to showcase Chinese designs to the rest of the world.

Besides, the meeting on February 24 will finalize the host city of the next assembly.
