The harmonic reducer, independently developed by Midea, has recently gone through rounds scientific and technological appraisal. As for parameters like cam shape, thickness of flex wheel wall and tooth shape design technology, the project has been well identified as "globally leading", and solved “bottleneck” problems. It can be widely used in robots, machine tools, trucks/AGVs (automatic guided vehicles) and many other industrial sectors.
