2022 ITTF World Youth Championships has been concluded in Tunisia on December 8, and Chinese Team took home four gold medals in the team event (U19 Men's Team and Women's Team, U15 Men's Team and Women's Team). Remarkably, young table tennis athlete Huang Xu'nan from Foshan Sports School, along with his teammates Wen Ruibo, Kang Youde and Li Hechen, have shown excellent performance in the competition, and won the U15 Men's Team gold medal together.

It's a breakthrough for Foshan to win the gold medal in the ITTF World Youth Championships. Since his first arrival to Foshan Sports School in March 2016, he has been trained by three coaches, Cao Jiguang, Tan Sihao and Zhang Puzheng. During his school period, he has achieved excellent performance in various types of competitions.

In September 2018, Huang Xu'nan entered Guangdong Provincial Sports School. In September 2020, he was selected by Guangdong Provincial Team, and later was nominated as one of the National Youth Table Tennis Training Team for the first time in 2020. In December 2021, Huang Xu’nan won the seventh place in men's singles at the National Youth Trials held in Huangshi, Hubei Province.

In August 2022, Huang Xu'nan lived up to expectations and won Men's Single Champion and the 3rd place in group competition at the 16th Guangdong Sports Meeting, being qualified to represent the country at the ITTF World Youth Championships.
