Shunde's Beijiao Town saw its GDP top 100 billion yuan in 2022, becoming the second giant economy town in Guangdong Province after Nanhai's Shishan Town.

Manufacturing has become the town's first pillar industry. In the first 11 months of 2022, the total industrial output value of Beijiao Town has reached 450 billion yuan, and the annual industrial investment increased by 35.1 percent year-on-year.

Beijiao is a global home appliances manufacturing center with the world's largest industry chain cluster, including 2 world’s top 500 companies-Midea and Country Garden.

At present, Beijiao is speeding up the intelligent transformation of manufacturing industry. As a representative to build modern industrial system in Guangdong, Beijiao's smart home appliances, robots, industrial design and other industrial clusters have national and even global influence.
