It is well known that lychee, longan and wampees are the top three fruits native to South China. As summer is the harvest season for wampees, this juicy and sweet fruit is sought-after among foreign market.

        Lately, 245-kg wampees was sent to Canada by air, marking the first patch wampees exported from Gaoming.

        Gaoming Foshan is a major exporter of local fruits. In recent years, the annual average export volume reaches 2,000 tons or so.
