This month, Foshan saw the capping of "Gate of Nanhai", a new city landmark that stands about 140-meter tall. Shaped as a grand "door", the project is located on the central axis of Nanhai District. It lies in the heart of Guangfo Trade City (广佛商贸城) and neighbors Kowloon Park (九龙公园). Interiorly, it houses a city exhibition hall, office buildings, and hotel apartments.
